The Fire Mountain Rally was a single-seater soapbox car race held on Xita on a weekly basis. There were 24 contestants who started on a ramp that was lowered to mark the start of the race. Jutudiel acted as the race commissioner for the event that was started on the summit of a volcano and finished in a rainforest. It was Urie's first real victory as a driver, earning her enough money to purchase four warp coils for a Kuhnri-class freighter. (Star Trek: The Stoneship Files: "At the Soapbox Races")
