The USS Seahawk (NCC-59302), nicknamed "The Hawk" and "Ol' girl" by her crew, was a Curtis-class starship, originally designed and built as a light cruiser. She was the second of two Curtis class ships which were built from the decommissioned hulls of 6 Incom-class starships. In 2367, during the Federation-Cardassian War, the Seahawk's major systems were severely damaged and it was decommissioned and sent to the Reserve Fleet or the Ghost Fleet. The Seahawk was recommissioned in 2371 By the Starfleet Marine Corps due to and effort to bolster there fleet in the early months of the Dominion War and repaired and refitted into a landing vehicle dock.
