X.S. Tech was a corporation that specialized in the sale of technology throughout the galaxy. The corporation was based on Planet X as the name suggests. The motto of the corporation was: "Seize the Future with X.S."
A stranded away team would be the first Starfleet personnel to make contact with X.S. Tech.(Star Trek: Voyager - Dark Realm)

History[]
According to the present C.E.O., Chairman L.C. Clench, the company started as a small manufacturing plant on Planet X. After an aggressive expansion campaign by several different C.E.O.s the corporation expanded to its present large size.
According to Clench, his people made contact with Earth via a market research probe and determined the parallel version of Earth visited by the away team to be a viable market for its advanced technology. (Star Trek: Voyager - Dark Realm)
First contact with the Federation[]
First contact with the X.S. Tech Corporation took place in 2376 when a stranded away team from the USS Voyager followed the direction of Dr. Emmett Brown to facilitate the medical treatment of Crewman Celes Tal after she was shot by 3D.
Brown's directions led the away team to what appeared to be another version of Earth which had made first contact with a world called Planet X and was engaged in some form of interstellar trade with that world. Most contact between X.S. Tech personnel and the humanity on this version of Earth took place at the Interplanetary Convention Center.
After brief negotiations for information on Armus, the Heartless, and Biff Tannen X.S. Tech personnel agreed to treat Celes.(Star Trek: Voyager - Dark Realm)
