Korinas was a Cardassian female who served as an intelligence agent in the early-2370's.
In 2371, Korinas served as an observer for the Obsidian Order during Benjamin Sisko's and Gul Dukat's search for the USS Defiant (NX-74205), which had been hijacked by the Maquis. At that time, she had unsuccessfully attempted to conceal the secret warships illegally constructed in the Orias System, which were later used in the failed attack on the Founders' home planet. Dukat had remembered Korinas's treachery well during their next encounter two years later when she and Gul Revok arranged a meeting between Dukat and Dominion representative Weyoun. Korinas had successfully convinced Weyoun that the failed attack against the Founders' homeworld were the actions of a few "misguided officers".
Following the Dominion War, Korinas was involved in the True Way's plot to assassinate Castellan Alon Ghemor. She was Revok's copilot aboard one of the Cardassian ships that attacked the USS Defiant (NCC-75633), using the information she obtained from Sisko and Dukat five years earlier to overcome the Starfleet ship's cloaking device.
