History[]

Early Life[]

José was born in 2125 (In Between Days: Reversal).

Imperial Starfleet[]

José was a guard for the Emperor Philip IV in 2155, along with Andrew Miller (mirror) and Brian Delacroix (mirror) (In Between Days:Throwing Rocks at Looking Glass Houses).

José was with the ISS Enterprise after the Emperor Philip IV's assassination by Hoshi Sato (mirror) (In Between Days:Throwing Rocks at Looking Glass Houses). He worked in Security, often guarding the Armory and occasionally drinking while on duty (In Between Days: Reversal).

In the correct timeline, he and Travis Mayweather (mirror) were killed on February 6, 2161, during a slave uprising on Lafa II (In Between Days: Temper).

First temporal dislocation due to a pulse shot[]

When the first pulse shot was fired, in 2178, José was promoted to Ensign with promises of more to come if he could deliver more victories.

On June 1, 2178, when he was asked to captain the ISS Luna, when an aperture was opened between the Mirror universe and the prime universe, the ship went through but then could not return. As a final act of desperation, he rammed the Luna into the USS Bluebird, thereby killing all aboard both ships, including Malcolm Reed, Leonora Digiorno, Neil Digiorno-Madden, Jennifer Crossman and Karin Bernstein (In Between Days: Temper).

Second temporal dislocation due to a pulse shot[]

During the second temporal displacement, on December 26, 2166, José led a charge against the prime universe, brandishing the Empress's favorite sword, Ironblaze. He was able to slaughter everyone he met, and with no casualties on his side. One reward was the essentially ownership, in sexual slavery, of Karin Bernstein (mirror), Blaire Claymore (mirror) and Pamela Hudson (mirror), all of whom he regularly abused.

Once the 2178 temporal errors were corrected, Lili O'Day and Douglas Jay Hayes Beckett were able to keep their children from going to the Mirror universe in 2166, and Beckett shot his phase rifle through the opening between the universes, thereby killing Torres (In Between Days: Temper).

Personal Life[]

He pursued several women and for a time was a favorite of Hoshi Sato (mirror). He was possibly the father of her third child, son Arashi, although the other leading candidate was Francisco Ramirez (mirror) (In Between Days: Brown, Temper).

Memorable Quote[]

"We need ground cover. Go to Mount Arashi. Force'll be coming in that way. Look for the Luna."
— (In Between Days: Temper)
