The Glorus class was a freighter class built by the Federation.
The freighter is made up of a small saucer.
Two nacelles come up from this section and rest slightly elevated from the saucer on either side of the navigational deflector.
The vessel is designed as a replacement for the tug class, however.
The class was discontinued in 2383, after only two vessels had been commissioned. The class suffered because of high power use and several design flaws in the hull shape. (Star Trek: Unity)
