Galarrwuy Yunupingu
Lieutenant Galarrwuy Yunupingu was a neyel of Jonglu (Australian aboriginal) origin from the Smaller Magellanic Cloud. He was the first extragalactic officer in Starfleet serving as a Conn Officer.
Yunupingu had an adventurous pre-life, but never spoke of it: he was mute, not by biology, but by will (some Australian aboriginals used to wow silence in time of grief, so it is speculated, that he mourned after family-members were lost in the other Galaxy, and after proper time, he will speak again).
In times of need, he communicated with the help of sign-language, which the computer translated for other officers. Nevertheless, he has a complicated personality, with the space-born body of a neyel (thick, brown-gray skin, tails, hands on his feet, total black eyes, etc.). (Star Trek: USS al-Qazwini)
