Edosians (or Edoans) are a tripodal, semi-humanoid species, having three arms, legs and fingers on each hand. An Edosian named Arex was a member of Starfleet, assigned to the USS Enterprise in 2269 and 2270. (Star Trek: The Animated Series)

The Edosian homeworld was also home to the Edosian orchid and the Edosian suckerfish. (DS9: "Broken Link", ENT: "These Are the Voyages...")

Himta Mayala, an Edosian politician, served as President of the United Federation of Planets from 2373 to 2381. (Star Trek: Pioneer (STP))
