Draco Malfoy always could count on his family's wealth and status to get him anything he desired, as evidenced when Draco joined the Slytherin house Quidditch team during the 1992-93 term (GG7 dating). Draco's father, Lucius, paid for new racing broomsticks for the entire Slytherin team.
The "holier-than-thou" attitude that resulted from this also made Draco think he could get away with anything. But the goodness and loyalty exhibited by Harry Potter and his friends soon changed that.

It is not known when Draco and Cho Chang started dating, as the first evidence of this relationship was sighted by Harry Potter in a corridor on space station Deep Space 9.
But it is known when Draco and Cho were joined as husband and wife; a few hours after the memorial service for those killed in the Battle of Sagitarius IX, Captain Benjamin Sisko joined Draco and Cho in a traditional Bajoran ceremony.
