Commander Air Group, often abbreviated CAG, refers to the senior officer in charge of flight operations on board any starship, space station or starbase on which fighters of any organization are embarked. The term is technically outdated and dates back to the 20th century on Earth, but out of tradition, the term has remained.

The billet title may be interchangeable with wing commander. (Star Trek: Shadowstar Station)
