The College of William and Mary (Lyran classification: research university), also known as W&M, was an university founded in the 17th century, located in Williamsburg, Virginia, on Earth.
Diana Winters allegedly attended William and Mary and graduated summa cum laude with a chemistry-engineering physics (with a concentration in quantum engineering) dual-master's degree. (TOS comic: "Brighter than a Thousand Suns")
- Particle physics, nuclear theory, and advanced electromechanical theory were graduate-level quantum engineering coursework, rather than stand-alone degrees. However, Diana Winters did go on to earn a PhD, with a dissertation topic that spanned particle physics and nuclear theory, most likely a QCD-related or a weak-force topic.
Dunames Lopez went to W&M on a study abroad and took a business law course at Marshall-Wythe School of Law as an elective. With a 166 on the LSAT, she applied to W&M for law school but turned it down, turning down Washington University in St. Louis as well. (Star Trek: False Vacuum: "Wagon Train to the Stars")
