Cadre was a semi-official title given to upperclass (third or fourth year) cadets at Starfleet Academy who were assigned to help train the incoming freshman class during their "plebe summer." After the summer, Cadre would often mentor and guide the younger cadets through the rest of their time at the Academy. The term is both singular and plural. (Star Trek: Pendragon)

- John Seilback: Cadre for Alpha Squadron in 2347.
- Jon Loveless: Cadre for Nebula Squadron from 2358 to 2359.
- Timothy Barranco: Cadre for the cadets of Nebula Squadron from 2358 to 2360.
- Mark Montgomery: Cadre from 2360 to 2362.
- Timothy Sinclair: Cadre from 2361 to 2362.
- Ben Bartholomew: Cadre from 2361 to 2362.
