Aurelia Hambsch was an human professional alcohol drinker of the late 23rd century.

While in graduate school at Laval University, she took part in the 2291 edition of the Longueuil Cup. As the then-world record holder in the women's beer mile, having broken the six-minute barrier, all hopes of the Rouge-et-Or were placed upon her, since she was the only contestant on either roster to compete in more than one event, ultimately losing both and, with the loss of the 4x100m women's relay, the Rouge-et-Or lost, on their home field, the PEPS, the Cup to the Edouard Montpetit College Lynx. For this reason, she was scapegoated more heavily than any other female student-athlete in Laval University history (both undergraduate and graduate), being blamed as the sole reason for their humiliating but narrow defeat, even going so far as being booed at graduation, upon earning her master's degree.
