The Arkrand Society is a sometimes radical organization dedicated to halting cross-contamination between races and societies in an effort to maintain cultural integrity.

Their involvement includes helping native governments prosecute non-native species when charged with cultural or other types of contamination.

By 2372, Starfleet Intelligence is assumed to have taken an interest in the group by Scott Fack's comments to Marie Bourget about her daughter Helena's involvement in the group. (Star Trek: The Cantabrian Expeditions: "Catalyst, Part One")

The Arkrand Society was founded by Nigel Arkrand in the late 21st century or early 22nd century due to his views on the cultural contamination due to humanity's exploration of the stars.
